Dagsboro is steeped in history. It was founded in 1747 and is the home of the historic Prince George's Chapel, a restored mid-18th century Anglican church now maintained as a museum. It is also the home of Delaware's only single screen theatre The Clayton Theatre. This movie theatre plays first run movies while still offering a home town feel including the original second floor balcony seating.
