Millsboro

Millsboro was founded in 1860 and is situated on the Indian River Bay. It's first residents were the Nanticoke Indians who still number nearly 500 in the area. The town's name stems from the number of gristmills and sawmills that thrived in the area back at that time. Cupola Park is one of the best areas to experience breathtaking views of the Indian River Bay. Considered one of the fastest growing areas in the state, Millsboro also is home to the communities of Gumboro, Oak Orchard, and Long Neck.
